Cancellation and Refund Policy
A Subscription can be cancelled at any time as set out below. The following terms and conditions govern all the transactions with respect to the paid Services availed via our Platform and the Products:
1. Subscription Auto-Renewal
If you purchase a subscription plan ("Subscription Plan"), you acknowledge and agree that your subscription will automatically renew and ProWater will charge you on a recurring basis until you cancel your subscription and such cancellation shall become effective, only by the next billing cycle.
2. Requesting a Cancellation
For requesting a cancellation, you must contact ProWater customer care or address an email to support@prowater.in.
3. Cancellation Terms and Conditions
Upon ProWater receiving an email / ProWater Application or an intimation with a request for cancellation of subscription to any Subscription Plan, subject to the below terms and conditions Pro Water shall duly deactivate the auto-renewal feature:
You will remit a specified sum as an interest free refundable security deposit prior to the commencement of the subscription ("Security Deposit"), which shall be refunded at the end of subscription period, subject to you:
- clearing all your outstanding dues to ProWater;
- returning the Subscription Device, along with any other related devices, parts or documents, in an "as-is" condition, subject to normal wear and tear; and
- complying with all other terms and conditions set forth in the terms and conditions accepted by you on the Platform.
- ProWater shall not be liable to refund any remaining subscription fees for Customers who have purchased monthly plans. Only the Security Deposit shall be refunded in accordance with the terms specified above in clause 3(a).
- If your recharge validity expires and no subsequent recharge is made within 7 days from the expiry date, and you request cancellation after the said 7-day period, the subscription fee for the ongoing month will be deducted from the refundable Security Deposit.
- If you have subscribed to an Annually discounted Subscription Plan and you raise a cancellation request before the completion of the subscription tenure, the refund shall be calculated based on the original base plan price and the number of months the subscription has been utilized, excluding any discounts applied. The refund will be subject to the conditions outlined above.
- Any outstanding dues, including but not limited to unpaid subscription charges and amount required to repair damage to the device, shall be deducted from any refund amount payable to you.
4. Access After Cancellation
Following any cancellation request, you will continue to have access to the service through the end of your current Billing Cycle.
5. Re-subscription
Post cancellation of your subscription, if you wish to re-subscribe to the Subscription, you may do so.
6. Account Deletion
Please note that if you delete your account on the Platform, you will lose access to the remaining balance and services left in your Subscription Plan. During the deletion process, you are asked to explicitly agree to forfeit the remaining time and services in your current paid subscription and acknowledge that you would not be refunded for this unused time.
7. Cancellation Requirements
To register a cancellation in accordance with these terms and conditions, Subscription Device ID and a valid registered phone number is required.
8. Cancellation Process and Device Return
Upon receiving a cancellation request in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this Cancellation and Refund Policy, the team at ProWater will reach out to you to understand and address the issue. If the issue remains unresolved, ProWater will confirm the scheduled date for the return of the Subscription Device.
If the pickup of the Subscription Device is successfully completed within five (5) days, subject to the Customer's availability and cooperation, a refund will be processed in 7 days post collection of the Subscription Device, in accordance with the terms of this Cancellation and Refund Policy, subject to the Sale Device passing ProWater assessment. However, if the device pickup fails within this time frame, the case will be transferred for the recovery of the device and efforts will be put in by ProWater towards recovery.
9. Device Inspection and Refund Processing
Once the Subscription Device is retrieved by ProWater's logistics partner and received at the warehouse, it will be inspected for any damages or missing components. Following this inspection, your purifier ID will be deactivated, and a refund will be processed on the Platform, in accordance with the eligibility criteria outlined in the terms and conditions of this Policy, the Terms of Service, and the User Manual provided to you. Upon initiation of the refund, a completed refund confirmation link will be sent to the contact details registered with your account.
10. Liability for Delays
ProWater shall not be held liable for any delays in the initiation or processing of refunds, or in the retrieval of the Subscription Device, arising from festival seasons, unforeseen circumstances, technical issues, or limited staffing at ProWater.
11. Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions of the Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time. We may modify these terms or add any additional terms that apply to the service to, for example, reflect changes to the law or changes to our services. You should review the terms regularly. Your continued use of the services post an amendment shall be construed as a deemed acceptance of the amended terms and conditions. These terms are to be read in line with the Terms of Service. All defined terms have the same meaning as stated in the Terms of Service.
